Dangerous cargo

Dangerous Goods are subject to transport, workplace, storage, consumer and environment protection regulations, to prevent accidents to people, private property or the environment, to other goods or to the means of transport . 

To ensure consistency between all these regulatory systems, the EU have combined and converted these rules into specific Directives which are applied to all transport in the EU, both within and across national borders.
